SAFETY SITTER CLASSES
The ASHI Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Program, designed for participants ages 11 and older, equips individuals with essential skills for supervising, caring for, and keeping children and infants safe in babysitting settings. Participants will learn to be medically responsible, creative, and attentive babysitters through lessons on safety precautions, an introduction to rescue breathing techniques, caring for choking infants or children, recognizing emergencies, and calling for emergency help. The course also covers the basics of running a babysitting business and effective supervision. This full-day program is offered once a quarter and is also available upon request.
